Elizabeth Griffin: Taste of Grace

I was never looking for God. All I knew is that I needed to stop what I was doing and begin to explore an overwhelming desire within me for something else, something more to life. In the late 1980's I left my job and schooling, sold almost all my belongings, and placed what was left in my 1969 Rambler named Ruthann to begin a journey alone with no itinerary and no destination.

My book A TASTE OF GRACE is inspired by my voyage into the unknown that eventually led me to a life filled with grace. Rather than just tell my story, I've drawn lessons from it to create a personal meditation and reflections guide to help readers find their own way to fulfillment.

Woven throughout the book are Italian lifestyle anecdotes, and recipes from the kitchen of my husband Mauro (pronounced MAUR-row). We married in Gubbio (Umbria) in 1996; Italy has been my home since 1993. This country continues to surprise me with its instinctively sensual approach to life. I've included some of what I've learned to help you create and flavor your own journeys.

On this website you'll find a short biography with photos that correspond to a few sections of the book. There are also some writings and photos mostly from our life here in Italy. And, under the Taste of Grace section, you can purchase the book from Amazon or connect to my publisher, Fearless Books for an online preview (and free shipping on orders direct from Fearless). Check out the links on this site for additional information on topics shared in the book. And of course, I'd love to hear from you. Feel free to send your comments to me in the contact section, or you can find me at "Taste of Grace" on Facebook.

Buon viaggio
